Privacy Policy

How Fluid Wiki handles website, licensing, payment, and support information.

Scope and contact

This policy describes data handling by the individual developer operating Fluid Wiki. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to wenfh20@gmail.com.

Local documents and AI providers

Your vault documents and local indexes are stored on your device. Buying or activating a license does not require uploading your vault. Optional online AI and search features send the prompts, queries, and relevant content needed for the operation to the service you configure or choose. API keys are stored locally and sent to the selected provider for authentication, not to the Fluid Wiki licensing service. These providers process requests under their own privacy policies.

Licensing and delivery

The licensing service processes order and Dodo Payments customer identifiers, payment status, license records, device identifiers, platform information, activation and verification times, and delivery status. We also process the purchase email, source IP and refund history to bind purchases, prevent refund abuse and enforce purchase restrictions. A device identifier helps enforce the three-device allowance. We use the purchase email obtained from Dodo Payments to deliver the activation code and handle purchase-related support. The application stores its license credential and activation state locally. This information supports trials, activation, verification, device management, delivery, refund handling, and prevention of unauthorized use.

Payments

Dodo Payments handles checkout and payment processing as merchant of record. Dodo Payments and its payment providers receive payment and billing details under their own policies. Fluid Wiki does not receive or store your full card number or Apple Pay payment credentials. See the Dodo Payments Privacy Notice.

Website and support

When you visit the website, hosting infrastructure may log your IP address, requested path, timestamp, browser information, and response status for operation and security. Payment pages redirect to Dodo Payments’s hosted checkout, which may use cookies or similar technologies under Dodo Payments’s policies. If you email support, we receive your email address and the content you send. Please do not send passwords, API keys, payment card details, or private vault files unless necessary and agreed for support.

Sharing and processing

We use hosting and email infrastructure to operate licensing and deliver messages, and Dodo Payments to process payments and payment events. Information may be processed outside your country by these services or by AI providers you select. We do not sell your personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address fraud and security incidents.

Retention and your choices

We retain licensing, transaction, delivery, and support information as needed to operate your license, resolve disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information; some transaction or security records may need to be retained. You can stop using optional online AI features and manage local files and configuration on your device. Deleting local app data does not itself erase payment or server-side license records. For information held independently by Dodo Payments or your AI provider, contact that provider.
