Terms of Service
Terms for the Fluid Wiki desktop software license.
Last updated: October 16, 2026
Who we are
Fluid Wiki is desktop knowledge management software developed and operated by an individual developer based in China under the Fluid Wiki brand. For product, licensing, or support questions, contact wenfh20@gmail.com.
Your desktop license
The standard license price is USD 39 as a one-time purchase. It includes perpetual desktop use, lifetime desktop software updates, and up to three active devices with self-service device unbinding. Windows is available today. The license will also cover the Mac version when released; no Mac release date is promised. Future cloud synchronization, hosting, and other SaaS services are not included.
Purchase and delivery
Public sales are open at USD 39 including tax. Dodo Payments acts as the merchant of record and authorized reseller. Review the currency, taxes, and final amount shown at checkout before paying. There is no recurring desktop subscription. Following server verification of successful payment, an activation code is sent to the email address entered at checkout. Enter the same purchase email and activation code in Settings > License in the Windows application. Contact us if the code does not arrive.
Trial, activation, and access
The desktop trial lasts 30 days, starting when the device first starts a trial with the production licensing service. Existing free users receive the same trial when upgrading to this licensed release; reinstalling does not restart it. Initial activation requires an internet connection. The app attempts license verification at startup and periodically while online; a valid credential permits offline use for up to one calendar month after verification. When a trial expires, a credential expires, or a refund revokes the license, editing is restricted. Existing local documents remain available for reading and export. Your local files are not deleted because your license expires or is refunded.
Your data and optional AI
You control your local documents and are responsible for keeping backups. Optional AI features use your own provider account and API key. Related prompts and selected content are sent to the provider you configure; its fees and terms apply separately. Review AI output before relying on it or saving changes.
Refunds and consumer rights
Our Refund Policy provides a full-refund request window of 14 calendar days from purchase, including after activation or use. Dodo Payments processes payment refunds. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or any more protective rights applicable to your transaction. Dodo Payments purchases are also governed by the Dodo Payments Buyer Terms.
Responsible use and ownership
Fluid Wiki is proprietary software. A purchase grants a license to use the desktop software; it does not transfer ownership of the software or third-party components. Use it lawfully, respect other people’s rights, and do not share an activation code beyond the permitted device allowance. Third-party components retain their respective licenses.
Support and changes
Send support requests to wenfh20@gmail.com. We may update these terms as the product changes. The terms and refund promise applicable when you purchase govern that purchase; subsequent changes do not remove your purchased license rights. See our Privacy Policy for data handling.
